Indeed, we have our own game engine. It’s Titan. People don’t know about it. But maybe they should.
At least you do!
This one explains an example of what Tita and the team was able to do to benefit our players. Millions of them.
Look, working on Titan is the definition of impact.
Timo’s & Edmond’s article (Coming soon. Going through HR review… (Joking))
This article is about to come. Final polishes. It’s to show how various backgrounds can lead to the same place.
A place where you could be, too.
Things you might be wondering
-
Because Titan gives our game teams control over the technology they depend on. It’s built for mobile and around the specific needs of our games, and teams can go deep into the engine and change the systems they need to. That means the Game Tech team can solve problems at the engine level instead of working around them. And when something gets better in Titan, every game can benefit.
-
The game teams decide what they use, so a lot of what the Titan team builds starts with what they need. But not every problem belongs to just one game. Sometimes you spot something that could be better across multiple games, and you can take it on and solve it at the engine level. That’s encouraged, even when it’s not strictly part of your role.
-
You get to work on technology that can impact all our games. Every Supercell game runs on Titan, so the things you build can reach millions of players across multiple games. You’re not building for just one game. You’re building technology that game teams use every day.
-
Not necessarily. But it definitely helps. We’re interested in what you can bring to the problems we’re solving, and people on the team come from very different backgrounds. What matters is being curious about games and caring about the people who make them.
Okay and what are the jobs then?
We’re building new teams within our Game Tech collective. And we – you guessed it – need you. Build tools. Solve challenges. Be free.
Make the best work of your career.
